Who we are
Jozoor is a storytelling and brand strategy studio based in Cairo, Egypt. This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any question about it, email us at hello@jozoorcommunity.com.
What we collect
Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
Playbook requests: your email address, and your name if you give it.
Course enquiries: your name and email address, and your phone number and message if you add them.
A record of your consent: the sentence you agreed to, when you agreed, and the IP address and browser details the request came from.
How you found us: the page you first arrived on, the website that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), so we know which of our channels are working.
Please do not send sensitive information, such as health or financial details, through these forms.
Why we use it
To send you the newsletter you subscribed to, until you unsubscribe.
To email you the playbook you asked for.
To reply to your course enquiry or request.
To keep the forms free of spam and abuse.
Only if you accept analytics cookies, to understand how visitors use the site and how our campaigns perform.
We rely on your consent for the newsletter, your requests and analytics, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Cookies
The site sets a small number of first-party cookies it needs to work: one that keeps the forms safe from forged submissions, and one that remembers, for up to 90 days, which link or campaign first brought you here so we can tell which of our channels are useful. Analytics and advertising cookies from services such as Google or Meta are only loaded if you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. It is handled by our team and by the providers that run this website for us: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider and, only if you accept analytics cookies, the analytics and advertising platforms loaded by the cookie notice. Some of these providers may process information outside your country, and we only work with providers that protect it appropriately.
How long we keep it
Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Requests and enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Consent records are kept for as long as we hold the information they relate to.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Every newsletter email includes a link to unsubscribe. To make a request, email hello@jozoorcommunity.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date below.
